Walt Disney sued over ‘Hannah Montana’

Buddy Sheffield, an Emmy-nominated writer, has filed a law suit against the Walt Disney Company for allegedly stealing his concept for a show named ‘Rock and Roland’. The show he pitched to the Walt Disney Company had a boy who goes to school using an alias while being a rock star at night. Sheffield’s idea was rejected in 2001 while Hannah Montana began in 2006 with a similar concept.
