Disneyland Housing Plan to Go to Vote

(News | Source: Forbes)

The City Council of Anaheim, California will let voters decide on whether housing should be built near Disneyland. The housing would include more than 200 low-end condominiums that will be more affordable. The Walt Disney Company has been against the plan from the beginning saying it would destroy the tourism-only district which brings in half of Anaheim’s annual revenue. The condominiums would be built across the street from Disney owned land that could be used as space for a third park in California.
