Disney now giving away 2 million dreams

Walt Disney Parks has decided to extend the successful Year of a Million Dreams for another year. It will now last till the end of 2008 and include more prizes given away to random guests. The celebration began in October 1st, 2006 and has given away over 846,000 prizes. Many credit the celebration as helping increase attendance at all four parks since it began.
“Because it has so resonated with guests, Year of a Million Dreams has helped drive a strong year for Disney Parks and Resorts,” spokesman Rick Sylvain said. Sylvain also indicated that the company had new and exciting ‘dreams’ for guests in 2008.
