Disney 3Q profit increases on strong TV, theme park growth

The Walt Disney Company increased profits 5 percent for the thrid quarter and was driven by higher attendance at its theme parks and it’s television stations, mainly ESPN. The company reported a net income of $1.178 billion and revenue climbed increased to $9.045 billion from $8.474 billion last year.

Profits from its parks and resorts increased 13 percent due to the increase in attendance and spending at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
