Japan is having both the Teppanyaki Dining Rooms and Matsu No Ma Lounge remodeled and expanded. They are expected to open by the end of summer as the Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining restaurants specializing in teppanyaki cooking and sushi.
“I think this is what guests expect now, with more of the interactive experiences in our restaurants,” Epcot Vice President Jim MacPhee said. MacPhee also said that dining trends are moving towards interactive dining and healthier foods. Most restaurants have modified their menus to include less trans-fat.
