This week in Walt Disney World’s History was a quiet one with not much changing. Below is a list of changes that happened at Walt Disney World this week:
- Thursday, July 12, 1984 — Show Biz Is opened on this day. It was a short lived show in tomorrowland that closed about 2 months later.
- Saturday, July 15, 1995 — Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding Pavilion opened on to offer guests a magical place to get married on Disney property.
- This week in 2000 — Demolition of Horizons starts to make way for Mission: SPACE.
- Making history this week (2007) — It was unofficially announced through the Orange County Tax Records web site that the Jedi Training Academy show is no longer going to be seasonal and Disney plans on building a large stage in front of Star Tours for the newly permanent show.
