The Star Wars Jedi Training Academy, a seasonal show during Star Wars Weekends, will become a permanent show at the Disney-MGM Studios. This fall, Walt Disney World will complete a stage to be used for the show near the Star Tours attraction. Officials have not mentioned if the stage would cause the removal of the Ewok forest or AT-AT Walker, but the project did describe a 140 by 96 foot stage. According to official documents from Orange County, the stage is going to be in the same location as the Ewok forest. The show is one of the more popular items from the Star Wars Weekends where people, mainly children, are selected from the audience to be trained in the ways of the Jedi. The new stage show is expected to have up to eight shows a day.
