Walt Disney Co. buys Junction Point Studios

The Walt Disney Company has purchased Junction Point Studios, a company currently working on an untitled fantasy game. The Texas based company will become part of Disney Interactive Studios and will focus on creating games based on Disney Characters. Disney’s CEO Bob Iger has been changing Disney Interactive Studios to focus on game publishing and less on licensing Disney property. The founder of Junction Point had been credited with Deus Ex, Thief and Ultima Underworld I.
