Disney reverses life time ban on future FSU players

Florida State(News | Source: Orlando Sentinel)

Walt Disney World security originally had given 4 future Florida State University football players lifetime bans from the Disney property after they were loitering at Downtown Disney. It was changed from a life time ban to a ban of one year from Downtown Disney. The high school student’s parents were instrumental in getting the ban lifted. One of the parents was a Disney manager while another was a civil rights attorney.

Disney had already received complaints about racial profiling since most of the people given the lifetime bans from the park were of a minority. The company refuses to apologize for the incident and won’t change the bans for any of the other people banned from the resort.
