• Disney and Apple announced that several movies from The Walt Disney Company are now available for download/purchase on the iTunes Music Store. Prices range from $9.99 – $12.99. The films sold 125,000 downloads in the first week, totallying $1.3 million in revenue. (Source: MSNBC)
• The Year of a Million Dreams has begun. Oh, and there’s a dude at Disney with a super-long title (“Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Senior Vice President of Global Alliance Marketing”) and a wicked name (“Ken Potrock”). (Source: Orlando Sentinel)
• Anual Passholders (Disney World) can get a sneak peak of the new “The Seas with Nemo and Friends” pavilion at the Living Seas in EPCOT between October 13-15, 2006.
• CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother” is an awesome show, sans Bob Sagat. Their season premier (2006) featured the same music as is used in the intro of the Netcot Podcast … we’re OK with that because its a good show.
• In www.myspace.com/netcot news, xKuplyX shared a picture of meeting the everhot Francine from ECW (before they were watered down by WWE for primetime). Also, “999Ghosts” posted a picture of Captian Jack Sparrow’s new ride on the netcot myspace page. Checkitout.
